Snowy Owl

There are a number of things that I like playing with in my
work. Perhaps one of the more intriguing things to me is the
nature of texture. Context defines how we interpret texture.
Something that is rough can be made to look soft in the
appropriate context. This owl is made of nothing more
than an abandoned piece of wood I found on the side
of the road. Yet, the grain looks like feathering.
Soft. Fluffy. What is it that causes this?

The Only Person Standing in Your Way...

...is you.
